August
10th - Promotion Sunday; All incoming 6th-12th Grade students are encouraged to join our Sycamore Small Group Ministry which takes place during the 1st hour of worship at FHCC. It begins at 9am in the loft, and will take place every Sunday morning.
16th - Prayer Walking; We are going to meet at FHCC at 10am and pray together. Afterwards we will send each family to the school campus of their choice to pray for the students, teachers, and administrators. We will wrap up with lunch at Ci-Ci's pizza in Collierville. There is no cost to prayer walk, but each person will be responsible for their own lunch.
17th - Middle School Parents' Meeting; immediately following the second service we will meet to ask questions and give information about Sycamore.
24th - High School Parents' Meeting; immediately following the second service we will meet to ask questions and give information about Sycamore.
24th - Sunday Night Light; We are meeting at Keith and Karla Nitz's house at 6pm. Admission is either a 2-liter of soda, a bag of chips, or cookies/snacks. Everyone must be picked up no later than 8pm.

14th - High Attendance Sunday; We will be giving away some awesome prizes on this day. The more friends you bring, the better your chance to win! We're also going to be advertising our new line of Sycamore apparel, known as Syc Gear. Pre-orders will be taken on everything.
14th - Disciple Now Weekend Sign Ups Begin; This year's Disciple Now Weekend is taking place in the Fall instead of the Spring! Registration information will be available starting on this day. The theme for D-Now will be "Passionate Conviction", and we will be discussing how to defend your faith.
24th - See You At The Pole; Students will gather at their school's flagpole to pray for one another, teachers, administrators, and our nation before classes begin. We will have a special service that night to celebrate this awesome event!
October
12th - Chili Bowl 4; All participants will receive an official "CB4" t-shirt. The team that wins the championship will receive "CB4 Chamions" t-shirts. The cost to register a team is $15. All teams must be registered no later than October 1st.
19th - Buddy Walk-William's Wanderers; This will be a great event where we support one of our own. The Buddy Walk takes place each year as a way to acceptance of and inclusion for people with Down Syndrome. We will be walking in support of William Mouhot. The walk will take place immediately following the 2nd service. More details to come.
19th - Sunday Night Light; We'll cap off a great day with a bonfire at the Wukasch homestead. Bring a cooler with your favorite soda, a frisbee, a basketball, and a smile. We'll sing some worship songs, play some games, and roast some marshmallows. This is a free event.
29th - "Hollywood Stars" Costume Theme Night; We will be having a costume theme party at our Mid-Week Worship Service. There will be a prize given for the best costume and for the best couple costume. Students are encouraged to invite their friends for a great time.
November
2nd - Disciple Now Weekend Registration Closes
2nd - Sunday Night Light; We're hosting a video game night at FHCC. Bring your system, we'll have a Play Station Room, an X-Box room, a Wii room, and all the snacks necessary to bring out your A-game. This is a free event that will go from 6-9pm.
14th-16th - Disciple Now Weekend "Passionate Conviction"; more information coming soon.
